We review Meat Smarts across security, privacy, reliability, accessibility, performance, and product safety. This page keeps our standards and follow-up work visible.

Current Checks

• Automated tests: 34 of 34 passing with enforced coverage thresholds.
• Production dependencies: no known vulnerabilities reported by the package audit at the last review.
• Security: authenticated account and billing routes, signed Stripe webhooks, request size limits, defensive browser headers, and server-side usage enforcement are in place.
• Privacy: submitted photos are processed for the requested analysis and are not intentionally stored in the application database.

What We Are Improving

• Automated browser checks for sign-in, checkout, account management, and photo-analysis failure states.
• Shared production rate limiting and monitoring across serverless instances.
• Routine accessibility testing at mobile and desktop breakpoints.
• Documented incident response, backup restoration, and subscription reconciliation drills.
